Design collaboration project of a viking great hall. The goal of the project was to make a stylized, asymmetrical, game environment that resembled a nordic, or viking, great hall.
Steps of the design project I performed:
- Modeled the interior of the building (3ds Max)
- Modeled all the interior objects/props seen in the scene, minus the drinking horns, (3ds Max)
- Imported/positioned scene elements (Unreal 4)
- Created all materials using textures made by Michael Aamold for the interior objects (Unreal 4)
- Added lighting/effects to the scene (Unreal 4)
- Setup post processing adjustments (Unreal 4)
- Keyed the cameras/transitions and created the final render (Unreal 4)
- Edited the final video, applying audio and adding intro and outro credits (Premiere)
